Bernard is a private family assistant operated by the Polacek family. This policy describes how information is handled when family members interact with Bernard via SMS text message.

Who This Service Is For

Bernard is a closed, private system. Only designated family members whose phone numbers have been explicitly added to the system can receive messages from or send messages to Bernard. There is no public sign-up.

What We Collect

• Phone numbers of family members added to the system
• Message content sent to and received from Bernard
• Timestamps of messages

How We Use It

Message history is used solely to provide context for Bernard's responses — for example, remembering a prior conversation or delivering a reminder. No data is used for advertising, sold to third parties, or shared outside the family.

Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Data Storage

Messages are stored on a private home server. The system is not a commercial service and data is not stored with any third-party analytics or marketing platforms.

SMS Messaging

Bernard may send SMS notifications, reminders, and responses via text message from (877) 780-4236. Authorized family members opt in by texting START. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. To stop receiving messages, reply STOP. For assistance, reply HELP.
